Mr. Wang Weiting, Chairman of Zhongtian Tongyuan Solar Energy High tech Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zhang Zhifang, President, were invited by the Organizing Committee of the Egyptian Economic Development Conference to participate in the "Egyptian Economic Development Conference" attended by Egyptian President Sesi from March 13 to 15, 2015 in Shamshakh, Egypt.
This conference is the Egyptian Economic Development Conference (EEDC) with the theme of "Egypt's Future", held in the coastal city of Sharm el-Sheikh in the southern Sinai Peninsula of Egypt. More than 2200 representatives from nearly 100 countries attended, including heads of state and government of 25 countries and heads of international organizations. During the conference, Egypt attracted a total of $36.2 billion in direct investment. Investors from various countries have also reached a total project financing agreement of 18.6 billion US dollars with the Egyptian side, and multiple international organizations and foundations have also reached a total loan agreement of nearly 5.2 billion US dollars with the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation.
During the meeting, Chairman Wang Weiting received on-site interviews with five Egyptian media outlets, and President Zhang Zhifang received an exclusive interview with Egyptian National Television. After the meeting, we signed solar energy cooperation agreements and solar photovoltaic power generation construction contracts with Barkotel Company and AL REHAB Company in Egypt, and received warm hospitality from Barkotel Company.
