Shigatse News (Reporter Bao Zhujun Intern Reporter Chen Yang) On the morning of January 4, 2013, the Shigatse Municipal Party Committee and Government signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Promoting Solar Heating Engineering" with Beijing Zhongtian Tongyuan Solar Energy High tech Co., Ltd., marking the official launch of the Shigatse City Heating Engineering.
Wang Xijing, a member of the prefecture committee and Secretary of the Shigatse Municipal Party Committee, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech.
Wang Xijing pointed out that Tibet is a plateau region with high temperatures, hypoxia, and low boiling points, and the heating problem cannot be fundamentally solved. The Shigatse City Warming Project, which was officially launched today, is a significant progress in the history of heating in Tibet by utilizing solar energy for heating.

It is reported that since May 16, 2012, after six months, all employees of Zhongtian Tongyuan Solar Energy High tech Co., Ltd. have been continuously innovating in technology. Currently, solar heating, photothermal power integrated machines, solid heat storage media, insulation pipelines, non electric humidification design technology, secondary heat storage and secondary heat exchange technology, intelligent control technology, and a complete set of application systems have all reached domestic and international advanced levels, China has created high-tech patented products with independent intellectual property rights, which not only effectively solve the heating problem of the people of Shigatse, but also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2874.82Kg per year using a solar heating system. The results of the Beijing experiment and the circular room experiment in Shigatse city indicate that clean solar energy can fully meet the heating and daily hot water needs of the people.
